You are joining a small engineering team that is already shipping a live platform, and you will lead it. You own the architecture and set the technical direction as we scale from a working product to the system hospitals run their AI operations on: the connectors that read from the AI a hospital has deployed, the auditable record on top, and the monitoring the platform is growing into.

What you'll own

  • The architecture and hands-on build across the full stack, and the technical direction as the platform scales.
  • The connectors that read from hospital environments, the auditable AI record on top, and the roadmap into drift and performance monitoring.
  • The engineering foundations: code review, testing, CI/CD, and the security posture a hospital will interrogate.
  • Leading and growing the team, and owning the hiring bar.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years shipping production software, including leading engineers and setting technical direction.
  • Deep full-stack skill in a modern stack (TypeScript and React, Node, a major cloud, PostgreSQL at query-optimization depth), plus CI/CD and containers.
  • You are AI-native: you build and ship with AI coding and multi-agent tooling, and you direct it rather than let it drive. You lead by still building. You raise a team's bar without leaving the code.
  • On-site in Tel Aviv, five days a week.

Nice to have

  • LLM integration and evaluation-framework design. Drift and degradation monitoring is an evaluation problem, and you understand it.
  • Healthcare data (HL7, FHIR, Epic) or another regulated, high-trust domain.
  • ML and MLOps, observability tooling, or model-monitoring experience.
  • You reach for AI coding and agents as a force multiplier and have sharp views on where they speed engineering up and where they need a human in the loop.

About Grid Health

Grid Health is a venture-backed health-technology company on a mission to make it safe for healthcare to adopt AI. We build a clinical-AI governance platform that helps hospitals and health systems inventory, monitor, and govern every AI tool and model they deploy — giving governance committees the visibility and evidence they need to sign off with confidence. Our buyers are hospital CISOs, CIOs, CMIOs, and AI governance committees. US HQ in Boston; R&D hub in Tel Aviv.

How we hire

Four steps: a short screen, an executive conversation, a paid or credited working session on a real problem from our roadmap, and a final round with the team you'd work with. We don't believe in take-homes that go nowhere — every exercise is a real conversation about real work.
